Lots of Changes

Well, this month sure hasn't gone anything like I was thinking when it started. o.o

First, I'm moving back to Indiana. My brother is moving out, therefore there's room for me to move in. Since I was expecting to move in June, not May, it was kind of sudden. But since my brother was helping, it had to happen before he moved (to a different country, as it happens).

Then, right after he got here, my grandfather died. So immediately after I move to Indiana, I'm apparently going to gallivant around the world to attend a funeral and then visit lots of relatives. Basically I'm just going to follow my mother around. But then, it's not like I really have anything better to do, so might as well.

Of course, that means all my writing plans for this month have been cancelled. I have two articles in the pipeline, and I'm going to try my darnedest to get them finished up and out there, but other than that, I'm done until next month (or whenever I'm back from the gallivanting).

Anyhoo. That's what I'm up to these days. Today we loaded the truck. Tomorrow we drive. Monday we unload the truck. Then comes all the flying and crying. Woot. ;)

Commiserations .. and good luck with everything. Just flow with events and you'll be settled in the new place soon enough. Who knows - if I can get my sleep schedule sorted, I might even see you in chat on your return.
