Writer's Block: Back to the future

Hmm. 12 was when I was first introduced to the harp. Which means, it was right before just about every major twist and turn of my life up to now. If my 12 year old self saw my 36 year old self, I don't think I'd know what to make of myself. There's like no frame of reference in common anymore.
On the other hand, I wanted to be a writer when I was 10, and I'm a writer now too (sort of). So maybe I'd be happy about that part, at least - even without understanding freelance nonfiction as being an endeavor worth doing compared to fiction.
