Heh. Considering that for about 15 years, the only clothes I made a point of buying was souvenir tshirts, yes. :)
For example, the one I'm wearing right now is from the New Orleans aquarium, which I went to as grad student after attending a workshop in Pascagoula. Aside from it being a really cool and productive workshop, visiting the aquarium with a fellow fish enthusiast (much MUCH better than rushing through with my family of polite interest), there was visiting New Orleans in general with him and his housemate, French Quarter, shotgun style houses, Bourbon Street until 4am, etc. ... I have lots of fond memories of that trip. :)
